The Guesthouse consists of 3 tastefully decorated
en-suite bedrooms. Klimt, Waterhouse and Mucha
adorn the walls and the mix of old and new
furniture has been used very successfully.
Quanta spares no effort to make her guests
feel welcome and at home. The emphasis is on
rest and relaxation. Soft music and candlelight
accompany the guests at a beautifully decorated
dinner table. Fresh blossoms, rose petals or
gem stones are the favourite table decoration.
The rooms of this B&B are comfortable with
tea trays end en-suite bathrooms. The rooms
are individually decorated and all have Quants
charm.
The B&B / Guesthouse was built by Quanta’s
father in 1948. The trees that her grandfather
planted 90 years ago are still standing and
watching over the house, and are home to many
a bird.
When you arrive horses, grazing in the meadow,
look curiously over the fence welcoming the
new guests. Zita and Pia, Quanta’s dogs,
bond instantly with new guests.
The park like garden has huge trees, clipped
hedges and a fountain built by Quanta’s
father.
Meals are home cooked and delicious. Every
few days there is either Baboti or curry to
embrace a typical South African dish. The dinner
is 3 course and fresh vegetables are used from
the vegetable garden. Vegetarians are welcome.
Breakfast is scrumptious and includes homemade
bread, a beautifully decorated fruit platter
and no effort is spared to please and spoil
everyone. |
